Engine 72 Works as Third Due Engine on First Alarm Print

After a slow day to relax from the Christmas holiday, PSC dispatched the box for 9133 Edmonston Terrace in company 14's First Due at 1623hrs. Engine 72 responded with 4 personnel and arrived as the third due engine. The crew laid a line and advanced the 400' to the rear to check the basement apartments. After checking the terrace level apartments command advised Engine 72 to advance their line to the third floor and work to contain the fire on the third floor. Engine 72 operated on division 3 until command hit the EVAC tones. Once the fire through the roof was knocked and crews sent back in, Engine 72 operated on the scene for another few hours. Clearing the scene just before 1900hrs.
