January 29th 2015, just after the day crew was finishing up the morning apparatus check PSC dropped the box for 6225 Seminole Pl, in company 14's first due, for the reported house fire. Engine 73 was dispatched as the third due engine and arrived on the scene laying their own supply line. The crew from Engine 73 stretched the 200' crosslay to Division 1 after preforming the basement check and finding no smoke or fire. While on Division 1 they advanced their line to a back bedroom that was on fire and extinguished it. Engine 73 with the assistance of a truck crew opened up on Division 1 extinguishing the hot spots. Command started to scale back the assignment and Engine 73 returned to service just a little over a hour from dispatch.
