At 0125hrs on February 16, 2015 Engine 73 was alerted for the reported house fire in the 5500blk of Carters Lane in company 13's area. Engine 73 arrived second due to pick up engine 9's line. Units found fire showing from a 1.5 story single family dwelling. Engine 73 advanced a back up line from engine 9 to Division 1 and worked on the fire in the kitchen and back room as engine 9 was working on the other rooms. The truck company assisted opening up on Division 1 as the engine crews hit the hot spots and extension. Engine 73 remained on the scene working until they were released at 0248hrs.
