Wednesday December 19, 2012 members from Riverdale Fire Department assisted the Town of Riverdale Park Code Enforcement with delivering food baskets to needy families in the Town of Riverdale Park. The department has assisted the town with the delivery of food baskets for several years. The members of Riverdale Fire Department also stopped past the Riverdale Elementary School and handed out candy canes to the children.

Later that evening members of the department went shopping for the three families that we adopted for this Christmas. When the shopping trip was finished the Deputy Chief's car was loaded down.
