Ordered in 2009 Engine 73 was the first time in over 15 years The Riverdale Fire Department Inc. had taken delivery of a new engine. The 2009 Pierce Arrow XT, which was numbered as Engine 73, has an eight man cab, 500 gallon water tank, dual crosslays, and for the first time in Riverdale a bumper line.
