Just before the members could sit down and start cooking lunch at 1217hrs, PSC dropped the box for 1325 Nicholson St in company 44's area. Tower 7 and Chief 7A responded with 6 personnel. Engines from 34 and 55 arrived on the scene with smoke showing from a 2 story single family home. Chief 7A arrived on the scene and established the command. Tower 7 arrived and spit the crew into two teams. The interior team started searching and opening up the second floor for engine company 34. The out side team laddered sides "A" and "D" of the house and vented the roof. The interior crews made quick work of the fire on the second floor and command scaled back the assignment to companies 34, 55, 7, and 9 in 30 minutes. Tower 7 and the A Chief cleared the scene just before 1400hrs.
