While relaxing after the normal station cleaning for a Saturday afternoon, PSC dispatched the box for 6513 Landover Rd for a reported apartment on fire at 1549hrs. Tower 7 was dispatched as the third due truck and responded with 6 personnel. The engine from company 33 arrived on the scene and reported smoke showing. Tower 7 arrived, a few minutes later, making their way to side"A" to take their assigned duties as the RIT. With company 33 making quick work of the room, command scaled back the assignment holding 2 and 2. Tower 7 cleared the scene in about 20 minutes and was transferred to company 33. Tower 7 finally made it back home after 1800hrs. Company 7 maintained an Engine and Ambulance crew back at the station.
