Just after getting done cleaning up from the annual Riverdale Park 4th of July festivities, PSC started to receive calls for 5613 Duchaine Dr in company 28's first due for the house on fire. Tower 7 was dispatched as the second due truck and responded with 6 personnel. Engine company 28 arrived on the scene and advised "Heavy fire showing", Tower 7 arrived on the scene and reported to side "C". Command advised Tower 7 to split their crew and perform the secondary search of the house and to also establish the RIT. After the crews got the fire knocked, Tower 7 assisted in opening up and other salvage work. The Tower cleared the scene in just over two hours. Company 7 maintained an Engine and Ambulance crew in the station during the fire.
