The crews from Riverdale had just settled down for the evening after a long 4th of July, when the tones sounded once again for the Tower. At 0028hrs PSC dropped the box for 5106 70th Pl in company 30's area. Tower 7 was dispatched as the third due truck and again responded with 6 personnel. The engine from 30 arrived on the scene reporting a working fire in a one and half story duplex. Tower 7 arrived on the scene and established the RIT in the front yard. Units made quick work of the kitchen fire and command scaled back the units and released Tower 7 and others in 30 minutes. Tower 7 was then transferred to company 30. The Tower made it home just after 0200hrs. Again Company 7 maintained an Engine and Ambulance crew back at the station.
