Units from the fourth Battalion were alerted for a house fire in the 3100 block of Madison Street in Hyattsville around 02:30 this morning. Engine 73, with 8 personnel, arrived to find fire showing from the basement extending to the first floor. Engine 73 took their own hydrant and advanced multiple lines, bringing the fire under control within 30 minutes.
