Just before 1800hrs on Sunday July 24th, 2011 units in Montgomery County were working a house fire in Takoma Park. Shortly after the first units from PG County arrived on the scene Command asked for the Task Force. Engine 73 and Tower 7 responded on the task force with 11 personnel. As company 7 arrived on the scene, they were put right to work opening up and checking for extension. Company 7 worked on the scene for about an hour before being released to return back to Riverdale.

While the engine and tower were working in Montgomery County an ambulance crew was maintained in the station.
