After what seemed like a never ending weekend at the station things were starting to calm down when at 2214hrs PSC dispatched the box for 7302 Baylor Ave in the College Heights area of company 13's first due. Engine 73 and Chief 7B responded with 9 personnel, with units being on the air the assignment was altered and Engine 73 was no longer first due. Units arrived on the scene with fire showing from side Alpha. Engine 73's crew advanced their line around to side Charlie, and ultimately side Bravo to make entry into the house. Chief 7B was assigned as the safety officer, as engines 94 and 73 made a push into the kitchen, engine 121 made entry into side alpha. Units worked together and quickly made easy work of the fire on the first floor. With the fire being brought under control in less then 15 minutes command scaled back the box and Engine 73 and Chief 7B cleared the scene in just over an hour.
