As members were finishing the prep work for Riverdale Park Day this Saturday October 1st, 2011 PSC dispatched a house fire at 4909 Quincy St in company 9's first due. Tower 7 was dispatched as the second due truck and responded with 5 personnel. Chief 7B ran the call as Battalion Chief 884 and also responded on the box. Units from company 9 arrived on the scene with a working fire on the first floor. Tower 7 arrived on the scene and laddered sides Bravo and Charlie, then proceeded to check the basement for the utilities and start to preform the secondary search and overhaul and check for extension on division 2. Chief 7B (Battalion Chief 884) was assigned as the safety officer. With the fire being knocked and brought under control in about 15 minutes command started scaling back the units. Command held company 9 and all three trucks for the overhaul. Tower 7 cleared the call just before 2300hrs. 

Company 7 maintained and Engine and Ambulance crew while the Tower Company operated.
