Members of the department manned the Engine and Ambulance today and headed to the H.O.P.E. Church on Kenilworth Avenue to participate in their Community Day Celebration.  The purpose of the event was to bring the community together and enjoy each other's company.  Activities for children and adults alike were available as well as plenty of food.

Those in attendance took time to admire the apparatus and learn about what we do as a volunteer department providing services to their community.  There was even a period of time for photo opportunities.  We thank the leadership of the church for hosting the event and extending an ionvitation to us.  After all, community is what we are all about.
