The Riverdale Fire Department is holding a fundraiser at Franklin's Restaurant, Brewery, and General Store on Tuesday, April 19, 2011.  The event runs all day (during Franklin's operating hours).  Franklin's will donate 20% of your purchase (tax and gratuity excluded) to the Riverdale Volunteer Fire Department, but you must turn in your itemized receipts to the host/hostess and ask that the receipt be added to the Riverdale Volunteer Fire Department Fundraiser.

All dining, carryout and genreal store purchases qualify.  Franklin's is located at 5121 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD.

While this fundraiser was organized well before the occurence of Chief Ryan's injury, the department will be considering the best use of the proceeds to assist the Chief and/or the Washington Burn Center.
