Saturday August 13, 2011 the Riverdale Fire Department hosted a Quarter Auction at the Masonic Temple in Glen Burnie. This was the first time the department has ever done a quarter auction. With about 70 or so people in attendance the fund raising committee believe that it was a great success. We would not have had such success without the support of those that donated prizes for us to auction off. The members and officers of Riverdale Fire Department would like to thank The Olive Garden of Hyattsville, Outback Steakhouse of Hyattsville, Holiday Inn Washington-Central, Covenant Cottage of Gambrills, Cakes by DK, and of course the ladies that worked in the kitchen.
