June 4th, 2018-At approximately 23:30 Tower 7 was dispatched to the 5400 Block of Gallatin St in Company 9's First due for the reported house fire with people trapped. Tower 7 was the first arriving piece of apparatus with fire showing from the basement. The men of Riverdale quickly went to work completing a primary on the first floor and basement then continuing to help Engine Company 9 in the basement. April 2nd, 2018- at approximately 2000 hours Engine Company 72 was alerted for the house fire in the 7300 block of Galileo Way. Units arrived on scene with fire showing from the roof. Company 7 operated for approximately an hour before returning to service. |

March 22nd,2018- At approximately 0600 hours Engine Company 73 was alerted as the third due engine company for the reported house fire in the area of Eastern Avenue and 34th Street. Units Arrived on scene to find a cape cod style home with fire showing from all floors. Company 7 made entry into division one via an exterior window and was operating on division one until the evacuation tones were sounded. Crews then operated outside the structure. unfortunately two residents lost their lives to the fire. Investigators are still conducting their investigation. March 3rd,2018- At approximately 0530 hours Engine company 73 was alerted to the 8500 block of Oliver street in Company 28's first due. Units arrived on scene to find fire showing from the second floor of the structure. Company 7 arrived with 7 volunteers an operated on scene for almost an hour before returning to service. February 16th, 2018- At approximately 1200 hours Engine Company 73 was alerted as the working fire engine company to the 4000 block of Lawrence Street in Company 55's first due. Crews arrived to smoke showing from the structure. Company 7 operated on all floors assisting with fire attack, searches, and overhaul. Company 7 operated for approximately an hour before returning to service. |
